Not sure why the first link doesn't work...still investigating.

PS - If anyone needs one, I've got two left that I'll send out to another Rennlist member. Send me an email (no PM).

Ha ha haa.... OK...let's go right now. Rain is good for ya! :-)

Besides....I haven't played in a year now. I've gotten into one of those spells of "i hate tennis". I'm sure I'll change my mind in summer.

Yeah, I have both my rackets strung with gut, so they stay as far away from rain as possible.

If you look up the test measurement for the air intake thermister (NTC1), it calls out a measurement of:
15 to 30 C = 1.4K to 3.6K

The resistance rating of the thermister is measured at 25 C. This puts the value around 2K for the data above. Now, look at the marking on the body in Bills picture. The colors are Red, Black, Red. That equals 202 in the resistor color code. I would say the part number listed on the Jameco site should then be a NTC-202...the 202 is the color code on the part. Note, we can't see if there are any other marking below the heat shrink so this might not be the whole story. Sometimes a four band is on the device to tell the accuracy of the part. In this picture, I believe I see a dot which tells the tolerance. So the 202 looks correct for the color code value.

The 750 ohm thermistor will be too low a value. It will tell the DME that the air temp is warmer then it really is. This will cause issues on cold weather starts.

I think the 75 OHM is a mistake. If you look at the web page there is no 75 Ohm thermister. Only a 70 then 90 ohm.

Ha haaa...you guys are funny. "75Ohm" is the name of the Rennlist member who provided the correct part. The link above and the units I ordered are 2k Ohm resistors (this is what the stock one is...look at the markings) at room temp, with a range of -50 to 150F.

Mike, kind of figured you did not order 75 ohm ones.

I see, 750HM is the member name.

My reason to post... The link you referred to didn't state the way to read the color code or the value of the part.
So why didn't you state what the part number is so anyone can order it?

My thoughts: This is a very inexpensive part that is easy to install. So buy it and install it yourself.
