Default Part number for Guru MAP Temp Sensor?

Anyone know what type or temp sensor (model) is used on the Guru MAP kits? I think mine has died a painful death and I need to pick another up. I don't see any markings on mine though.

Take the old one with you and go to the nearest electric parts store. They can help. I bought several temp sensors for couple of cents.

I would love to take the old one out, however the turbo appears to have eaten it. I need someone to take a pic or tell me what the markings are on the current one. The thermistor value would be even better. This is the little thermistor that plugs into a tiny hole in the intake tube.

Oh ****....that sounds bad.

I will have a look at mine over the weekend, but I don't remember noticing any markings on it. Why don't you ask Danno? I'm sure he is still there.

Regards

Thanks for the reply. I sent an email to Danno, but no reply still. He's been absent from these boards for a while so I'm not optimistic about getting in touch with him.

I looked at that thermistor once when I first got the kit and I think it had black and red markings on it. If I had a pic, I could probably decode the value of the little bugger.

I don't need a kit. Read the previous posts and my sig. I need a pic of the little temp sensor that goes inside the j-pipe.

Mike,

I have one sitting loose in the center console of my 951. You are welcome to look at it.

Do you have a picture of that straight pipe?

Bill or unhguy86, can you describe the markings on the thermistor or snap a quick pic to post? I assume this is a pretty standard thermistor I can pick up at Radio Shack.

I can't believe that with all the kits that are out there no one is able to provide a part number or any information.

I thought just Motorola does MAP sensors. Promax motorsports uses BMW E36 MAP sensors - maybe it is the same since they offer GURU Map Kit's on their web site: http://www.promax.uku.co.uk/
check it out!
kind regards

I know Lindsey sells the temp. sensor with their kits. I don't know if it's the same thing or not, but you may want to call them. Do

unhguy86 - I sent you an email asking for how much you wanted for that spare sensor.

Can anyone else with a MAP kit go out to their car and post a pic of the little temp sensor that plugs into the intake pipe?

Lindsey seems to use a different one for their MAP kits, but that other site in the UK is selling the Guru Kit. I sent an email to them as well asking if they can give me a part number.
