Hi Mike,

Unfortunately, you can't see the sensor from the outside of the pipe - just the 2 wires disappearing into a grommet. To get to see the sensor requires the inlet taking apart.

Can't BILL or UNHGUY86 help out here?

Regards

Graham

Actually, you can just pull it straight out of the pipe. The sensor is a slip fit with a rubber grommet in there.

I can. My problem is when I get home from work in the evenings, I just go blank to forget about the days toils. Danno gave me a sensor and it is sitting loose in my center console. Mike, what do you need, a picture? I do not remember any part numbers on it, since it is so small. You are welcome to stop by and look at it yourself.

Pulling it out of the pipe isn't related to why your turbo ate yours, is it....

OK, I don't have the car here, but I'll try to have a look when I go home.

Yeah...just a pic would be nice. I remember looking at it once and i think it had some black and red markings on it. If I had a pic I could decipher those markings and find a suitable replacement.

OK, just been out to the garage to look.

Unfortunately, I now remember that I installed mine with the sensor on the underneath so it looks neater, but that means I can't quite reach it to pull it out (mine is a MAP 1 with the original airbox and snorkel etc retained). I haven't time to take anything apart tonight, but I'll have a look at the weekend if you still need me to.

BILL can't you just take a photo for him?

Regards

Graham

Awesome! Thanks bill....I'll get the part number and post back on this list when I decode those markings.

Oh...and I haven't played for over a year....so I don't think you want a lesson. :-)

Sorry...should have updated this sooner.

75Ohm provided the correct replacement. It isn't identical to the one shipped with the kit, but I have installed it and it is working properly.

Not sure why the first link doesn't work...still investigating.

PS - If anyone needs one, I've got two left that I'll send out to another Rennlist member. Send me an email (no PM).
