Question Is there anyway to drain all the gas out of the tank?

I want to get all of the gas out of the tank due to it being a year old and replenish it with new fresh gas. Is there anyway I can just unhook something and let it pour?

Yeah, man.
Pull the fuel pump cover (3 screws) and pull off the rubber feed line hose from the pump and aim it into a funnel.

After I pull the hose off is it going to start pouring out right away? And how much slack will I have to get it into sometype of can? Just wondering so I don't fill my hatch with gas, lol.

Your hatch??? Backup there, cowboy.

The fuel pump cover is UNDERNEATH the car - you know that, right?

Yep, if you pull the line feeding the fuel pump, it will all pour out right away, and quite quickly. If you really want it to go fast, remove the fuel filler cap.

The cover in the hatch is for the fuel level sending unit

Oops, yeah I was thinking of the fuel level sending unit, with the cover under the hatch carpet.

Alright I will try and get it out tomorrow, hopefully all goes well.
