Your turbo made 339hp according to your post - Gt rates it at 375 (probably inflated) - what boost were you running? And will a SFR true 3" down pipe attach to it?

339 at 18psi boost. Rated horsepowers are highly dependent on volumetric efficiency, and on boost settings. An SFR 3" pipe may be a close fit, I have never used one. With some modification and a Vband flange I'm sure it could be done.

Thanks,

Andrew

That is part of it you can see there. I will take a photo of it tonight. Breakfast smoothy before a race picture, haha I didn't even know that was posted.

Hmm, that turbo sounds like mine. .70 A/R and P trim... Good to know you were able to make peak boost <3k rpms. Any pictures of the turbo inlet on the car?

Barry, the Garrett made peak boost at around 3000 with a T3 and a 0.82 A/R. The innovative T4 with the .7 A/R and Ptrim is a much bigger turbo and didn't come on until 4200.

Links to pictures now posted in the original post

Thanks

as it was already explained to you...there is no way that turbine will spool at 3k on a 2.5ltr. Your not going to see a very good powerband on your car with that turbo(being we are talking about the stock motor)

That's true, the T4 .7A/R is better suited to a race application, our data shows that with the S2 gearbox we never fall below 4500 RPM at Mosport. Power is great from above 4000 to 7500 especially with the Milledge cam we are now using, but for street use I would definitely not recommend it, there is just nothing in the bottom end.

Hi,

Turbo is sold

I was looking through some wheel ads, 1200 for the simmons still seems a little high. Final price, 1000 USD. Let me know if anyone is interested.

Thanks again,

Andrew
