arent those the pep boys brand tires? i've seen them on my uncle's taurus SHO, they resist big smokeys pretty good, but i dont know about anything else besides that since it's not my car. in my experience, you get what you pay for with tires. get yoko advans. mmmmm....R-compound.

ok for the $$ they cost, will get noisy after 8k or so. I would think for the same $$ you could get some Kuhmo or Toyo within $20 ea.

I wouldn't even consider them. Bridgestone makes Fuzion, which for a street tire is considered by many to be good value.

I had the HTRz on when I bought the car. They were decent but a little noisy. I recommend the Fuzions over the Sumis.

yea, I was just reading about those Fuzion. Wasn't sure if it was some cheap imitaiton for the ricer kids to use, as that's how it seems to be marketed.

You couldn't be more wrong. Search these forums and read the comments from those that are autoX and tracking the Fuzions. They are not ricer tires.

My 951 came with Sumitomos. I don't remember which model they are. I can look tonight. They are garbage. They have almost full tread depth and I hydroplane @ around 50 mph on the freeway. Very scary. I am not exagerating! I've had better wet traction from worn Yoko A032r's! They squirm around in the dry too. Even though they only have a couple thousand miles on them I am going to get new tires. They are that bad. I was actually thinking of ordering a set this morning before I saw this thread!
