not much to write home for, but its me both at 1,4 and 1,25bar. Not easy to beat a GT3 on track wit less grip and non ABS on an 951 but its fun trying.

Thomas its me. Lars ;-)

I do believe Lars runs a small turbo compared to other turbocharged 3Ls.
I think it's a 27/6 or something similar.
Lars bought a Sandén 3L from the man himself. It blew up within a very short time after the purchase. The builder was not interested in putting things right so Lars has built this engine himself.
I'm sure he will add som info to this

The turbo I use is an earlyer verion of this K26/27 hybrid.
http://www.turboservice.se/KX400.html

3.0L
8v
Comp 8.5:1
3" ex
55 injectors
Escort Coilover
16" weels Toyo 225 /245 proxy RA1
Z27 camshaft
580Nm @ 1,0 bar @ 3250rpm (measured at dyno)
700Nm/400hp @ 1,4 simulated he he I have been on the dyno twice at 1,0 bar but last time the Toyo tires would not grip. Did one run with grip to max Nm at 580?
100-200km/h (speedo values) is measured with stopwatch at 1,2bar to below 9sek

This is not a wild high hp application. Just a easy driving torqomobile:-)

Some fine adjustmens is done in the head, exhaust ports, exhastmanifoil, trottelbody
orginal IC OIL Water Manifoils Brakes and so on. (everyting gets to hot ;-) )
This works fine for road but is not good for hard track days.
The oil get quickly hot on trackdays (of course), I wonder if the oilthermostat is restrictive and/or dysfunctioning because it wont go down more than som few degrees each cooling lap.

not good in english and spellCheck don't work

Comming to the party a little late...

I didn't see any 100-200 times for stock k26/6

I did four 4th gear runs in opposing directions (2 each way) and averaged to get 17.5 seconds.

Any Comments?

I just thought I'd bump this because there was a ton of 60-130 discussion on bimmerforums so I took my racelogic box out tonight with my basically stock '92 525iT (4.10LSD, M3 ZF320, 7100rpm redline). Thought you guys would find this amusing, 60-124.5 (Where I have it gear limited), 50.510 seconds

I'll have official numbers for the pcar with the 968 box soon....

I WAS FLATSHIFTING

I looked at my logs in Racelogic and you can barely see the shifts, as I dont care about the gearbox.

I was just reading a post where Corleone did something like 6.5 secs for the 100-200kmh which is pretty damn quick. That's about 62mph to 120mph I think. That's getting along. I think we should do something like this as it plays to our cars strength of strong rolling start acceleration. Any more takers? I'll do it in a few weeks when I've sorted mine out a little more.

With my 2.5l I logged 7.6 sec 100-200 km/h last season.
I have a feeling the new engine will do better
