Well I put her back together today and I went to start her and she started OK, I went around the block and she over heated all the way to red.
I didnt put enough coolant so I toped it for sure this time, I tried to start her again but she only cranks and dosent turn?
...Any ideas of what it could be?
Could the overheating have anything to do with it?

Well guys I just tried and she started! I guess she just needed to cool down completely.
But she still is over heating and I did the Thermostat today while finishing the turbo job. Even before the tear down she overhated a bit on idle thats why I replaced the Thermostat.
Hmmm I hope its not the water pump, how would I check to see if it is?

Look in Clarks garage for the procedure. It helps to have the car on ramps if you use the gravity method. I always take a deep breath and blow through the expansion filler.

Someone here gave a good suggestion a few years back.
Use a 8 or 9 mm grease nipple with a 6 foot length of clear tubing that will fit on the grease nipple ... and a small tye-wrap.
Remove the bleed screw and install the grease nipple with clear tube attached (with tye-wrap) and place the other end in the expansion tank (cap off). this keeps the coolant in the system and not runnning all over the car and floor .... pets love to drink coolant, deadly!!!
Make sure the front of the car is elevated (jack up the passenger front of the car), heater set on full heat and start the car. Observe the coolant ans it warms up and look for air bubbles in the CLEAR tube. This may take up to 40 minutes depending on how much air is in the system and the knowledge level of the last person who filled the system. In a few cases it may take over an hour and it helps to rev the motor a few times for a few seconds.
