I say you sell it for what you have into it maybe a few bucks over that and call it a done deal.

BZZZ. Wrong. EVen though I am not on Renn much at the moment, I do get PM notifications and PM's, and you did not PM me. In fact, I had to email you twice to even get a response. Pretty poor form for someone who puts something like this up for sale in a forum if they actually want to sell it and not just be an .

If you want to start some sort of bidding war on the thing, put it on ebay. This is not the place for it. If you want to sell something here on the forum, the respectful thing to do is post it up, with a price, and sell it to the first person to respond that wants it and has the means pay for it.

Sorry I swore I sent you a pm but it must have been an email. I want to apoligize for me coming off as being rude you are correct. I have really been laxed on getting back to everyone and want to apoligize for that. I have been working roughly 14 hrs a day since i put the hood up for sale and havent really had anytime to do any follow up work.

Tifo If you accept my appolgy for being so rude and would still like the hood I will give you first dibs on it since everyone on here seems to think you would be the best home for it. If not I am sorry and I apoligize for my behavior.

If tifo doesnt want it I will be emailing everyone who had emailed me with interest. I didnt want to start a war or be rude in anyway to the members of this board. If it wasnt for most of you my car wouldnt be where it is today.

I wanted to just put this on ebay but i fuigured i would give the members of this board a chance before i let everyone on ebay have a shot on it.

Again Please excuse my behavior and i truly am sorry. I would be willing to put it on ebay to just be fair to everyone that is interested, but that would be up to you guys.

I have an original Cup hood that I would be willing to loan out for the cause, but this subject has come up often enough over the years to make me think that no one will actually go through with it.

My hood has some damage to it but is dimensionally correct and useable for this purpose.

Honestly, even if I *would* consider selling it, which I am not, shipping it to Slovenian would be quite the expensive undertaking. lol

Nah, I am holding on to it as I doubt I would ever find another, but like I said, if someone seriously wanted to try an make a copy that would be reproduced and made available to everyone, I would work with them to make it available.

Scott - do you know the history behind your hood? Was it from an original cup car (escort or rothmans), or was it purchased as a spare motorsport part and used on another car?
