That doesnt mean anything, you know how many cars come to us for bigger turbos, suspensions, etc fresh off the lot, used and new, many have come and gone with a temp tag in the window. Stock they still do pull a 14.2 in the quarter though.

some guy at a party i was at gave me a ride the other night in his srt-4 he didnt floor it or anything but it felt like it had a whole lot of low end, made me not want to race him, its still a neon and even when my car lost all its oil from something breaking off the engine(find out tomorrow) the tow truck driver said my car looked awsome and couldnt believe it was an 86

I drove one for a while, fun little car but horrible torque steer.
Really not a bad car for around 20K with a 7/70K powertrain warranty, but its still a neon with a PT cruiser turbocharged engine.

I still think the pull in my car under full boost in second and third is a little harder then the srt.

Oh, it has power driver and pass windows and CRANK rear windows.......

Where is Judson951? He, Samgrant951 and I ran into one on the highway coming home from 944fest '05. Justin pulled away from him while Sam and I watched. It was close, but Justin definitely had him. Don't give up on the 951. It's a much better car than any neon in all categories.

haha the srt4 isint a PT curiser engine....someone is smoking something.

The car's performance is very close to ours in terms of hp and tq and stock turbo effciency. They can put out 300hp at max effciency with bolt on's....sound familar? With a simple 50trim upgrade they can have over 400hp running 20-22psi with good gas.

I have multiple friends that run them....our cars compare very well. I can tell you that as long as your running the hp no stock turbo srt4 neon will beat you. I ran david who had every mod you can have with meth injection and 20psi....I was still out front maybe 4 cars.

However if they ditch the stock turbo.....your gonna need something serious yourself. The fastest one I have seen to date is chris's. He is running a 50 trim all supporting mods and putting down around 440whp. On the freeway it pulls very nicely. He has walked everything from 500hp cobras to zo6's and even hung door to door with a smal single turbo supra on pump fuel(about 500hp). He brakeboosts the crap outta it...knows his powerband and shifts very well. He could walk 95% of the 951's on this board.

Although....its still a neon. You cant deny the #'s. No shame in what happened to you. You prolly raced a full bolt on stage 3 car putting down 300-320hp.

I dumped my twin turbo 924 and traded for a camaro ss there is nothing like V8 power your punys 4 cyl are crap just dump the 4 cyl and swap a v8 into it. Just visit www.porschehybrid.com and see the power of porschev.

I have a buddy with an SRT 4 with every MOPAR bolt on they have( stock turbo) we went ahead a. nd raced from about 70-120. By 120 I was at least 5 cars ahead. Now it would have been a little different story if we started from a stop but... Those things with stock turbo are hitting full boost in the low 2000 rpm's! I could see with any larger turbo though, they could be difficult
