How do I download my Innovate LM-1 wideband data?
I had the LM-1 RPM kit installed when I had my exhaust upgrade done late this past week. I finally got my Bursch 2.5" test pipe and my SFR 3" cat back exhaust installed and bought the Innovate to go with it. It seems to work fine, when I'm running a full throttle 3rd gear run from 2,000 to 6,000 RPMs if I take a quick look at it it's in the high 11 range for AFR. It didn't come with much for intructions. The disc loads, but I can't open the instruction manual. My internet connection is super slow at 26.4 kbps max, way too slow for the videos on the website (tuneyourengine.com). I downloaded the instruction manual off the internet (at work), but there isn't anything about how to download the recorded info. The place that installed it is closed on the weekend. Any help much appreciated.

I suggest that you find a way to download the latest version of logworks including software and manuals. Install logworks and then use the LM Programmer to configure your LM-1 and to install the latest firmware in it, the manual describes the process.
Then you use the Logworks program to download data from your LM-1.
Then you use the Logworks program to download data from your LM-1.

Thanks for the info, I will try to download the latest version of Logworks from the website to see if that helps. Even trying to download the LM-1 manual off the site freezes up my computer.

Andrew, are you trying to download the data to your goatbook? I have been using the lm-1 for over about a year and it's so easy to download your data.
1. press red buttom to record data, press again to stop recording.
2. Once data has been stored turn your car off.
3. If logworks is running already go to file, click on download lm-1 log.
4. after download is complete, a new window should appear with the most recent run.
5. click on session to see the other previous sessions.
In regards of your pc freezing up the, only thing that comes to my mind is serial port conflict.

Thanks. I was able to download my AFR on several runs, my AFR is 10.61 to 11.63 on several flat out 3rd gear runs from 2k-6k RPMs. I'll take some fuel out with the DME settings and see if I can get into the 12-12.5 AFR range. My AFR curves are pretty flat with the Weltmeister chips. I want to upgrade to Vitesse chips, but will see what HP I'm running on the dyno once my AFR is set. The car is running very fast and the SFR exhaust sounds great. Thanks everyone for your input.
Arne.

I would leave the a/f between 11:5 & 11:9 just to be safe. from 5500-6500rpm 11:6-11:9 is ok.

Excellent! I'll try changing the DME settings to take out a little fuel and see if it brings my AFR up slightly. If not, I'll just leave it where it is. It was running lots richer before I had the test pipe and 3" SFR exhaust installed (on a Dynojet dyno). I would rather stay a little on the rich side for safety, but of course, I want every single horsepower I can get.

I set the DME to setting # 2 (-3.1% fuel, no timing change) and now my AFR on a flat out 3rd gear run from 2k-6k rpms is flat at 11.54-11.86 for the most part with a brief bump to 12.20 initially to a very brief low of 10.92 when the boost hits. I don't think it's going to get any closer than that, so I'm putting the carpet back in. I can't pick up the rpms on the graph, I wonder if they didn't hook that up when it was installed (though that's what I paid for). Getting the wideband was definitely worth it for the peace of mind.
