1. Can I keep the stock WG? would replacing the spring be a good idea?
You can keep your stock WG although you would have better performance if you upgraded it. There are FQS switches in the Vitesse chips for either a stock WG, shimmed stock WG or aftermarket WG.

2. Should I just replace the WG?
That is always an option. Shimming the stock WG is fine, it works. But that is really a bandaid to the problem. Tial units are very much worth the money IMO.

3. I like the Idea of keeping the Stock CV and running a MBC in series (mbc under hood mount), is this possible with the Vitesse Software?
Why? The Vitesse software requires you bypass the CV. There is no reason to run with the stock CV if you have another solid MBC. You will have much better boost response without the CV.

4. Am I out to lunch here?
How much money do you have to spend on upgrades later to feed the addiction? lol.

1. Yes, you could keep the stock wastegate, but it wouldn't perform as well.
2. Yes, get a dual port wastegate. It'll make a BIG difference in performance.
3. You can't keep the stock CV with Vitesse chips, you must have either an MBC or EBC. Straight off John's website: "You will need to bypass the cycling valve, and manage boost directly."

I'm not trying to cheap out or anything just trying to keep it as close to stock as possible...
