i'm thinkin some thing crazy... but what ever
I saw a picture the other day of a white 951 with the rear bumperets painted white. strangely i thought it looked really good. Just wondering what my fellow rennlisters have to say if i would happen to do this to my car .

I don't especially like the look.
But go for it. You can always replace them, or shave them or whatever!
Make you a reverse cast of the 944 emblem in metal and then brand it in and then you got a unique solution

Well,
Personally (not that I matter), I think the rear bumper is the one place the great styling of the 951 falls off. I think the factory bumper is as ugly as it gets. Now, I do think that the euro bumper looks pretty good. I have also seen a few 951s with a flush mounted rear bumper that gets rid of the rear valance and only has a hole for the exhaust. That to me (once again doesn't matter) looks great. It really smooths out that last bit of the car. Other then the stock rear bumper, the 951 is a pretty smooth flowing car. It's like they just ran out of patience or something and slapped that thing on there. 968 cars have more of the flush mounted bumper and looks great. Anyway's after all that I guess I would say what ever you can do to hide the ugly bumper, go for it. But my $0.02 is worth about that.

gcb951. I hear ya, i do not like the rear end of the car at all. It sits a lot higher then the rest of the body and the bumperets are ugly as sin. i have seen a couple bumpers that look amazing but once again im trying to avoid putting more money into this car cause i finally realized its pointless. i am just trying to make it looks nicer and maybe get a little more power when i get some chips from Vitesse racing. After that there will be very little money being poured into this black hole.
But yeah im debating if i should do this or not.
I do want to paint my wheels white though
