NIB Kenwood Speakers. KFC-x168. 6.5" high end speaker pair for 944/951.

$50 plus shipping which I guess will be $12-15 depending on where you live.

These are high end upgrade speakers. They sound way better than the original speakers, especially if you have replaced your head unit.

They are NOT DIRECT FIT, but easily installed.

There is a 6.5" speaker filler plate already in the back of the car where the 4" x 6" speaker is. It is a mounting plate for 6.5" with the middle intact.

You unscrew a couple of phillip heads and it comes out. You cut out the middle, drill holes, mount the plate to the speakers and reinstall the plate.

These cost around $100 plus shipping.

I am offering a set of speakers which is an upgrade to a 944/951 at around half price of what they cost from a dealer. If it's going to be a PITA, then i'll ditch them. I was trying to do fellow Rennlisters a favor.

Many people sell things on Rennlist, including guys who part out cars for a business. The sticky thread you are referring to refers to "if you are not a Rennlist Member". i have been a Rennlist Member for some time. i don't sell anything, including speakers, for a living. Search my postings and you will see I don't sell anything.

I am trying to do a favor to other 951/944 owners.

If no one wants them, i'll give them to a friend or ditch them.

No one needs to speak for Ted Wright. So the "whoop ***, son" comment will be ignored.

If Ted wishes, he can delete it or move it to Classified.

If someone wants the speakers, send me a PM.

I won't respond to posts not related to the speakers because they are irrelevant.
