Help! Coolant everywhere!
Drove to my friends house and the car was getting pretty hot, on the third bar the whole way. Solid traffic and 95 degree heat. So when I went to leave two hours later I noticed tons of coolant on the ground, and almost none in the tank. Filled the tank up with 50/50, and ran the car for 5 minutes. No leaks. Could it have just got so hot and boiled that much over? Thanks!

Check for leaks the next time that you park to determine where it is leaking.
If not a hose or heater valve, it is possible that your thermostat is not opening or one (or two) fans are not running. Fans could be relay or fuse related or a bad thermoswitch on the radiator.

If your fans were not running and you were that hot it could have been the coolant coming out of the expansion tank overflow hose. Was it all on the front drivers side? That happened to me once. Not good.... Check to see if your fans work. My electrical connection had come loose.

Dangerous to keep driving when it gest that hot. Did this happen all of a sudden, or has it always run hot?
You used the silicate and phosphate free stuff to refill?

Been through this before, there was enough pressure in the system to be forced out of the expansion tank overflow line. The problem was that the fans would come on low speed and not hight speed, temp. reached red zone.
Check the cooling system (fan operation and thermostat).
