Default MBC install with pictures. Edited for correct routing!!

You can never have to many pictures of some jobs so I thought I'd share these.

The first two are the MBC installed under the stereo (gauges witll fill the holes before too long):

I routed the lines through the unused grommet in the battery compartment. From inside the car, it is hidden behind the air vent hose.

The view from the battery compartment:

I used some 5/16" reinforced line from the intake banjo bolt to the side of the WG (the boost signal comes down the 5/16" line into the T). The T then goes to the MBC (red linegoing left). Coming off the top port is the same type 5/16" hose, which fits the banjo bolt well, that goes to the othe MBC port using a 5/16" to 3/16" joint.

Looks really good! Are you sure the hoses are routed correctly at the wastegate, though? Maybe I am wrong, but I think they are backwards.

I followed thier instructions. However, is it different for a Tial than the Lindsey DP?

I believe so, the Lindsey DP is just a reworked original wastegate and those are backwards as opposed to every other DP wastegate in the world as Special Tool kindly put it in a previous thread.

No, it is because the Tial is like every other REAL wastegate in the world - not a piece of **** like the stock 951 unit. It is supposed to be reversed from stock

Dan,
Looks really good. Where did you get the plate for underneath the stereo? I am getting another gauge so I would like to get a 2 hole plus the mbc. Thanks,

Looks like I goofed and put the MBC inline with the side port and not the top port. If you moved the MBC in that picture to the other line, that is what I did.

I'll move it over in the morning.

That looks like the Lindsey Racing plate. I just installed one for a customer and it looked exactly the same. I was very pleased with the fit of the Lindsey piece.

That's exactly what it is. You can have it cut in several ways.

I'll continue using the Autometer Ultr-Lite gauges. Currenlty, I have the Boost/Vacuum and AFR(useless really) gauges and will add a water temp and either an oil temp or pressure gauge.

I like reviewing the styles available on the Autometer website and then buy them from Summit Racing.

Dan, why not run more hose and get that "T" out of the heat?

There's going to be a lot less heat as the exaust is getting wrapped to the turbo.

What boost controller are you using? Also, I could see in one of your photos, a nice looking set of Battery cables, at least the positive side. What are they and where can they be purchased especially the negative side? Are they wrapped with heat shielding? My MBC is under the hood and requires effort to adjust.

Thanks,
Jonathan
