Yea, it is a ka24e motor. I have a 93 4x4 hardbody. A couple years ago i saw a hardbody with a 944 turbo motor dropped in it, it was long before i got into the porsche world...i wonder if i can find the link....Problem with doing much to the truck is that the rear end weighs literally nothing, so keeping the tires planted could be a problem...that and the fact that the trucks aren't worth crap, so it is hard to justify dumping much into them....i am waiting for mine to die so i can leave it on the side of the road....only it won't die, lol. I Have seen a lot of 4.3L chevy motors dropped in them as well.

The thing is that i think i can do it pretty cheap and i don't plan on racing it on the track or anything just something to screw around with. Mike i been to that site too as well as other asking the same question. I haven't got much of a response there though.

Hey Ian -- The Conquest/Starion have alot more then drivabiltiy problems. Just about every problem possible they have

Daniel, I was looking into picking up a SOHC 240SX and doing a low boost turbo setup last year..seems so cheap. I'm looking into it again and just remembered this site:

That is all i want just a low boost setup just make some more power. i figure for eerything i can probably do it for 800 bucks or less including the parts i already have. I will be using the safcII to tune with and my wideband and use the dsm parts for the rest excpt for the manifold from the 240sx. other then that i think the project should work if so others may want to do it too.
