I tried to change the orientation of the BOV what a PITA it hits the hood I guess I'll have to get new hoses.

I just went through EXACTLY what you are going through. I ended up using two 90 degree hoses and got everything to fit OK. I had to pull the j-pipe as far forward (towards the headlights) as I could to get the hoses to line up. I am seeing some interference between the headlight bucket and the air filter at the moment but think I can eliminate that with a little more adjustment. I'll take some pictures for you tonight.

Looks good. I'll try that. 90º bends are easy to get. s-shaped hoses are not.
I was concidering rewelding the connector on the j-pipe, but I'm worried that it could mess up the MAF readings.
