I have an 89 that is stock and an 89 with the Vitesse II, rebuild motor by Jim L., wide band, test pipe, LR stage one head, lots of Paragon stuff, motons etc... The stock car is quiet and smooth, but I do get a little nervous if a Z350 pulls up next to me and on the track they are similar in time. My Moded car is like driving a completely different car. Z350s are not in the hunt and I search out vets, M3s etc in a straight line or on the track... A good mix for an 89 is chips, a shimmed waste gate, 3 bar regulator and a test pipe. Your 89 will come to life and be very competitive. After that get your shocks sway bars and stainless break lines upgraded through Paragon. You will be in the top run group with this setup. These cars are unbelievable for the money.

 

Any EBC preferences? Also are you guys pod mounting them or putting it in the bay below the radio?
