Default Removing Carrillo Rod Caps

Anyone have any good techniques for removing the caps off the connecting rods -- Carrillo in particular? I finally got the bolts out of my new Carrillo rods (thanks Ed) but the caps are still clinging tight.

It was waaayyy tooo hot in the garage to screw with it.... maybe it'll be easy once I play with it.... but I figure it's easier to type the question in an air conditioned house than figure it out in my Kenmoore garage.

Screw the bolts in two or three turns, and tap with a plastic hammer.

That's what I have done with stock rods. The carrillo's are harder to do that way, since the bolts screw in from the bottom -- into threaded holes in the rods themselves. I guess I can try to hold the rod by the cap when I tap the bolts....
