ohh, okay. For what it's worth, the clutch issue IS common, but I've read from a few that really complained early, that it isn't as bad once it wears in. (Meaning 5k ish) Did you get it all from LR?
BTW too you dyno sheet guys, it is on the promax site. Not too shabby.

it will break in a little..
I dont knowwhat options the porsches have as far as final/ rear gears go but going lower (numericly higher) gears will help as well..

I had this problem with a different car, I found that rasing the idle about 200 RPM and playing with
the pedal adjustment helped make the shudder go away when taking off in 1st gear. My 951S doesn't have this problem, but my Subaru WRX started developing this. It became more evident
when I switched to a C.A.I.

I have a little chatter (930 clutch), tends to be sub 2100 rpm. Put in about 1200 miles ago in july. Went with the sach PP. Have felt a small change in the pedal as the clutch has slowly gotten broken in.

I have the shutter too. Especially in Reverse and First. As already stated, rev matching on downshifting makes a difference. Mine has only seen about 80 miles since I had the clutch installed a few months ago. I am hoping time resolves some of the issue. Oh, its a Spec Stage 3 six puck.

I had a 6 puk and it really shook quite hard when reversing or taking off sometimes. Fantastic for the track, but not nice around town and especially bad in traffic.
However, I'm betting it would gain you close to a second around many circuits just due to the instantaneous take up of power after shifting up into the next gear. The softer ones are much nicer on the street but feel sort of mushy compared. Depends on what you want from your car?

Joe, I agree. It is good to learn how to change gears properly and it's one of the reasons I like to drive manual cars, but you probably don't have anywhere near the traffic that some of us experience. I loved driving with my 6 puk but stop-start or reversing was shaking my car apart. I would definitely do it in a track car though.
