I can never find toluene in Home Depot. I find it Sherwin williams also. That octane booster won't do a dam thing.

How does Toulene come? 5gal cans or smaller?

What's it's intended use? As a paint thinner or what? Just curious.

So mixing at 10% for 2 gallons per tank results in what effective octane rating? My curiosity is kicking....

Lots of info here. Search for toluene and xylene in here and read away. I use a gallon of toluene per 1/2 tank of 94.

i did some searching and did some reading, but how much tuolene or xylene can be safely used as a percentage of the normal gas in there? that's the main question i have. vp103 is the way to go but since tuolene and xylene have such high octane ratings, i was wondering what could be done with mixing possibilities.

HEy guys, yea I only put 4 gallons of 87 in my car which got to to 1/4 tank. I do have APE stage II, so I thought I needed to get higher octane in me asap. Im ok now, I filled up with 91 aswell as puting in some octane booster. Thanks everybody

Guys, Danno's Racer-X webpage has everything you need to know about adding toulene or xyelne.

Same or slightly more , stick to race gas for half the price , plus on a sidenote if you ever send a oilsample to Blackstone for analysis they will pick up that you used Toulene right away for " abnormal wear " even without telling them up front.

I saw Xylene at HD for $12.99 gal. They didn't have Toulene.

go a paint store it will be much cheeper.

Toulene is about what? 114-116 octane. So you dont need much to severly bump your octane rating up multiple points...unless you are running a full tank. Maybe a 20-30% mix of toulene with 91. I buy 93 at the pump here.
