Vitesse MAF and 55# injectors
#32
Just wanted to update you guys after a week of driving and an Autocross.
The car runs better than it ever has, wonderful cold starts and you can put it in gear and go, no stumbling etc... The car sounds awesome, and the power band feels wide, boost comes on full by 2950-3000 RPM, and holds until redline. Everyday driving would never be a problem, drives better than any aftermarket setup (DME Chip, not to mention the larger injectors and MAF conversion) I have ever driven. I can not say enough about the setup.
BTW I have a Vitesse K26/6 Chip for sale, only for sale due to the MAF conversion. Will consider offers.

My car has huge intake valves, 310 degree (0-0) cam, 18 pounds off of rotating weight and 72 pound injectors. It starts and runs from cold better than my wife's Pathfinder. If you don't believe me, just ask our new moderator.

I forgot to mention, PM or Email me if you are interested in the K26/6 Vitesee chip.
I'll get back with you this afternoon.
Also, I joined Rennlist two weeks ago and have not received anything yet, any help with this issue?

"John cautioned me about running over 15PSI on pump gas due to possible back pressure caused by a inefficient turbo on the hotside and detonation problems due to hot gasses being forced back into the combustion chamber."
It's a safety margin that you might want to stay close too. 18 will probably be fine, but after that, I hope you have a bit higher octane
juanchovidal You are not getting the same turbo as his. You're getting the turbo designed for the Stage III. Follow John's specific instructions for your car, not for anyones elses. If you aren't sure ask John, or pm special tool. Be careful about other advise. John sets a lot of safety margin, but each car is different, as are the components. You are getting the FULL kit, so you car will be very different.

I am running a garret hybrid, which has a 8 hotside. I was just going by John's reccomendations. I have run 18-19 PSI with no problems, but turned it down just to be safe. To be honest, I turned the **** just a little too far and pegged my 25psi gauge, with no detonation, but turned it down immidately.
