I tried to get the NAPA sensor and no one carries it. It has to be ordered from VA and takes 2-3 days!

When I got mine from NAPA, I got the counter guy to let me look through the parts book through the pictures/specs to find the one I wanted for my setup. Maybe you can find something to work that they have in stock? IIRC, they had a few that would work with just some different terminal ends on them. Also, I think a standard 1/4 NPT sensor will screw right in (check the spec on the part number you have that many others run and IIRC it's a 1/4 NPT thread on it.).

Eniac
I got rid of my stock water line and banjo bolt completely. I used brass fittings off the turbo into a "T" to thread the temp sensor into then went striaght forward from the other end of the "T" to connect the hose.

That sounds really smart ..
Any shot you have a picture of that ?
I love pics

Hey Michelle
You know about using a few NTP fittings( i believe 3/8 ? from a store's plumming section ( compressors etc )
There are fittings that allow you to entend the pipe so you dont have to bend it
The threads are a little diff but a little teflon tape will take care of that ...:-)

Michelle, you should deffinitely try using 2 90 degree elbows. I just installed a t04e and I got the water pipe, temp sensor, intake mount, and everything else to fit perfectly with no bending at all by using 2 90 degree elbows. You probably won't be able to install the elbows with the turbo in the car though. I had to remove the turbines housing then install the elbows the reinstall the housing and install the turbo. It really wasn't that hard at all, and the fit is perfect. Like I said, I highly recommend you try the elbows out.

GOt it done with a 2" adapter on 2 90 degree elbows. Then put the banjo bolt in from the other side.

Atta Girl, err Lady. Just out of curiousity I've got to ask...did you use the 2 elbows before or after my post.

Either way, congradulations!
