I'm doing this soon. The wastegate was off last year when I put in a Guru WG.
The biggest problem with removing the WG is getting the bolts off, right?
I should be fine then.......



Someone please reassure me.

My fear is that the bolt is sheared off and I'll have to drill it out. It was hard to tell with the car just up on jackstands.

I've done a lot of thread searching on LR vs tial. I haven't seen any posts complaining about either (except some fustration with the tial adapter plates). Both seem to improve boost spool up and hold very well according to the treads on this board.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the LR wastegate, all they use is the stock housing keeping it a bolt on. Internally it's no worse than a TiAL and certainly better than a Deltagate.

Better product for less money. Then you can sell your stock WG to Lindsey for store credit.....
