Default Anyone need a $2500 951?

Saw this and thought maybe someone might be interested. I don't know anymore than the add says. Not affiliated or anything.

I'm sure Dmitry has already bought it If I didn't have to just shell out $1110 for a transfer case on the BMW I would check it out for sure.

Already? Ouch. . . . . .and I thought e30s were more reliable than 944s.

It blew a seal on the freeway and didn't take long for the planetary gear to get hot and strip some teeth. It's really my fault I didn't notice the leak and the TC fluids got real low. I'll be back on the road with it by Thursday after towing it back to Sac. And yes most E30's are more reliable than a 944, the TC is a weak link on the 325 iX if a seal goes south. My bad I guess, at least it wasn't a #2 RB on the 951...can you say Halleluyah!

Thanks, but I already have a $2500 951. I still need to figure out what to do with the darn thing.

for 2500 you're buying a nightmare, even if it's a parts car. that, or the guy's off his ****in rocker.

Out of curiousity, I called about this car. A battered women's center had it, but it's now sold.

FWIW, when I asked "what's wrong with the car?" was told "nothing." But then, the nice lady whom I spoke with may not have much experience or insight into the finer points of 951 condition and maintenance. Who knows?

I bet some woman donated her abusive husband's ride. We may have missed out on a deal here....
