Exclamation $23.86 + shipping for Blinker relay

Geez, another "simple" part over priced IMHO, VW/ Audi markings on the relay, even looked up under VW and same price. #P2066-35720

Not that $30 is that much, but $30 for a turn signal relay !!!!!!!!!

For the replacement of mine in my 86, I went to Partsource, and got a 3-pin flasher, and installed it. Total cost $5.30-something, took me less than 5 minutes, including my time in the store. Only downfall, is that it was a bit louder than the stock one was.

Not bad at all, considering it also drives the 944 blinker fluid level indicator.

Zero, just a universal 3 pin flasher ?

Luis, you have a good point there.

Yep, just a universal flasher. The guy at partsource even offered to let me try it before I bought it, to see if it worked, since he was a little skeptical as well.

I tried 3 actually, and took the quietest one. 2 of them had 'extra loud' printed on them, that I didn't see until after I had heard them operate.

But, I forgot about the blinker fluid level indicator, I ran out of that the other day, and at first I thought it was alright, until I hit the turn signal level, and after a terrible squeak (of course, I was out of blinker fluid!), the arm shot right out, shattered the driver's window, and hit the car beside me. After getting out, I got a good yelling at because I let my blinker fluid run out, how dare I?!
