Question Fuel pressure gauge install

I am going to install a fuel pressure gauge on the end of my fuel rail. What should I use on the threads to keep it from leaking. Will teflon tape work? give me your thoughts on this!

Thanks!

You should not need anything, though my VDO gauge came with a small amount of tape on it.

I don't know if you remove that nut recently but mine felt like it was welded.
I would use telflon tape, I always use it

Good luck

Dont know if hes using the same one I did, but Lindsey Racing sells a little billet adapter block that threads onto the test port, and then a plain little gauge threads into it. The block drops the gauge down too, so it wont hit anything.

I used teflon tape on my install.

You can buy an electrical fuel pressure gauge - it will come with a sender to mount on the end of the rail (or wherever you choose) and a gauge in the cockpit. Is that what you are wondering? They run about $200 give or take...

Heres an ultralite 0-100psi gauge: http://www.egauges.com/vdo_ind.asp?T...ATM-4364&Cart=
