For the record, I quoted Streckfu. I was NEVER in the Navy, nor do i share the Navy's rather...umm odd usage of weiners. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Just for the record.

Race Car
LOL, this thread makes my sides hurt....
It was remarkably stable! The only thing that rattled was the oil pan on top sometimes, and the box of balance shaft covers. I took it on the highway for 5 minutes, then on a bunch of really terrible back roads on the way to my house. I was half expecting parts to be coming forward, falling all over the place, but it all stayed exactly where I left it. I went out to pick up all this stuff, but the truck I wanted to borrow wasn't available on such short notice, so I made do I was told that there was no way all of that would fit, I told him I would make it fit.
I think a fridge in the back of a 944 would be sweet, was it plugged in?
What's funny is that the front seat was still empty, could have fit a lot more in!
Not in the picture, is 2 nearly-complete engine wiring harnesses (one 87 944 S, one 89 951 S), and other miscellaneous stuff. Had a few bottles of oil, a jack and something else back there. All in the rear-driver's corner, so I guess I missed it in the pictures

I don't have any pics and I'm ashamed to admit this, but when I was in high school my dad had a 944NA that he filled the entire hatch area with bricks. He was doing some back yard project and seeing as it was his only vehicle he loaded the puppy up. I seriously thought that if he floored it the car was going to do a wheelie.
