Good idea Cam, it will be interesting to see how much your project finally costs.

Yep, I am making my own setup to mount down in the bumper where the fogs/driving lights used to be. I know it's a bit low but I'm compensating with HID's.

If I make it to Fest, they'll be installed for that.

It's always nice to know sources on where to get items cheaper but I must clarify something regarding sourcing these items yourselves. Yes some items that tuners, such as Lindsey, sell can be found elsewhere for cheaper. Part of what you are paying them for is the work they went through to find these parts, get the PROPER part, and sell it to us as a bolt on with directions, support, and any needed adapters/hardware. You could look at it as we are not just buying parts, but a service also to back the parts up. HD sure as hell won't be any help if you have boost problems.

If anyone wants to buy my MBC for $30 + shipping I'll be happy to sell it. I got it from Turbonetics($65) and will provide the instructions (as if you would need need them that came with it. I used it for only 2 weeks before getting an AVC-R......and lemme tell ya, the EBC was well worth the few hundred $.
