Default A/C clutch bearing

Has anyone here ever replaced their ac clutch bearing? Is something that can be done with the compressor in the car? What tools are needed? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks, TT

I've done it with the compressor out of the car, but you should be able to do it without pulling the compressor.

The hard part is holding the front clutch plate while you loosen the shaft nut. You will need a spanner wrench.

Once you get the clutch plate out removing the solenoid coil and replacing the bearing are easy.
