Default 26/6 turbo spool up?

I have a 26/6 with huntley racing chips and accuboost, vacuum line update no cv. With the accuboost set to 16 when should I hit full boost?

What about the same setup with Vitesse chips? I usually get full boost around 3300 to 3500.

You have a leak or some other issue if you see 16psi around 3300 to 3500.

I see 15-16psi at around 3000, and 20psi at 3500-3600, unknown chips, shimmed wastegate, and restrictor on the banjo bolt. This is with a K26/6.

in 1sr and second i see full boost (18 psi) around 3100-3200, in third gear i see full boost at 2900-3000... its pretty rich, so if i lean it out it should do a bit better. I need to advance the timing a bit too, since the head is milled.

Since the head is milled you would need to advance timing ?????
Would that not be inviting detonation especially at high boost ?

depends on gear, and when you floor it. Any turbo requires a given amount of time to spin up.
In 3rd and 4th, If I floor it at 2200 rpm, I have 16 lbs by 2900 - 3000
If I'm in 3rd at 3000 and floor it... 16 lbs by 3400 - 3500 rpm.
It also spools up MUCH faster in cool weather vs hot.
60 degrees seems to be the temp that it likes the best

If you have a k26/6 with 1 bar over 3000, you have a leak. The first place to look would be your cracked headers, or your broken off emission tube.
If your headers are original, they are cracked - simple as that. For any genius who will say, "well, mines ain't cracked", they are cracked under the heat shields, where you can't see it without a cutoff wheel.

You are losing significant power with a leak. The best part of the small turbo is the area under the curve. If I was going to build a stock racer, I would concentrate on tuning the 1 bar spoolup down to 2500.
Let me see how low I can get it on Turbox's car - I am thinking 2300.....muhahahaha

hmm - hard for me to test with my short drive to work but it sounds like I have a leak somewhere with my spool up. It seems 1 bar for me is over 3000. I'll be on the highway saturday, so I can give it a good run. Cracked headers would suck :-( money is in short supply right now

Mark - no big deal take them off and weld them man. $60. They are 409 SS and any exhaust shop that does stainless can weld them blindfolded. When its done, wrap them with DEI wrap - it retains more energy than the factory heatshileds.

Hey Jim, are you only able to get those type of spool up stats on Vitese systems or can you offer info on other turbos/MAF's as well??
