Default Under radio gauge panel suggestions

I'm installing a boost gauge and MBC for a customer and would like some suggestions from people who've used them. I need one that is secure enough to mount the MBC and won't come off when the **** is pulled.

If you put a gauge on the far right side of the panel, it's COMPLETELY blocked by the shifter in third gear. That may be inconvenient for the **** too.

My $0.02.

Thanks for the reply,
I had a MBC mounted in my car for 2 weeks with a panel I made myself. The plate I made wasn't very secure however there were no problems with that location. I'll prolly suggest to the customer to go with a pillar mount gauge, but still need a good place for the MBC.

I guess if NO ONE else has any input I'll just call all the tuner's(Lindsey, SFR, etc) myself and see what they have...

I have the pillar mount in OEM black, and it looks factory. Do boost and a/f in the pod, and just throw the MBC in the glovebox or something.

Mine might be a bit radical, but it really works well!

The scary thing is, Tony's looks better in person than the pics show.

Damn, I'm jealous of people w/ real fabricating skills....

The panel is sheet plastic. Really nice to work, and it heat softens nicely to make the bends. I really like working with that material. My welding sucks. Kurt M is the standard by which fabricators should be measured. F'ing beautiful work.

The shifter only blocks it out in 5th and 3rd. I still like having my cubby.

Eyal knows a guy that makes those panels for the Zeitronix and MBC. Maybe he could make you something.
