Shaheed - their spoolup fuel is too lean. The 951 wedge does not like that. You can do that on a Supra, not on a 951.

Default I am the happy Rennlister Buckroo Banzi...

My initial impression "un F__king believable"

Holding off posting till I had completed 400 miles of day to day driving.
Have a couple of minor glitches.
1. Boost Spike? I have a Lindsey MBC and going to
swap it out for an Accuboost tomorrow.

2. Cold start, car coughs stumbles backfires when riving cold engine.
This morning I just drove the car and it stumbled when getting aggressive
in first...it runs fantastic when it warms up and it appears to warm up faster than the Authority Chip..

There is no way I can adequately express my frustration disappointment and expense with the Authority Chips. The car ran horribly, needless to say I would not recommend the Authority Chips to anybody based on my experience.

I will however indorse the Devek Chip without hesitation and what I cannot rave enough about is the "customer service" Anders and the folks at Devek have got be some of nicest in the business no bull if I didn't know Anders was Swedish I would have sworn he was Canadian that's how nice he is to deal with....

Might be interested in these. . . I'm currently running weltmeisters and a shimmed gate. That's it. I imagine these would result in some pretty nice fun if I only could summon the courage to add a boost controller. I inherently hate MBCs - too many horror stories of milkshakes and blown h.g.s. . . and EBCs are too bloody expensive - so I stay stock.

13.1-13.3 for spool here. Any more lean and it can det. very slightly (as of dyno three days ago). Based on experience, eh ST!

That boost pressure drop is shocking, A few bucks on a Tial would see a different car in the upper RPM!

I was looking at the AFR come sharply down. I think maybe it should come down a lttle earlier.

We have spent some time on the dyno today trying out some code changes and the car has an intermittent problem of cutting out at 3700-4800 rpm's. Not sure if it is related to the chips or not but we will soon know. This car has a lot of aftermarket products since before so it is not as easy as going from a stock car and know exactly what is being done.

Today was mostly spent tuning and we never went above 5000 rpm's, got a some 250-254 hp runs at those rpm's.

We also tried the Accuboost and got better boost control and boost build-up but since we could not cure the intermittent problems we went back to the previous settings. Got 15 psi 250 rpm's sooner than with the "black ****" style controller when using the accuboost.

The cutout problems could be injector related since they are installed without ballast resistors and the problem only occurs on full load.

The fuel consumption of the car has gone from 12-15 mpg with the Autothority chips to 23 mpg with the DEVEK chips. The owner reported (with a smile on his face) that during spirited driving the usage was 20 mpg. Apparently the wife had asked what had happened to the car since it had much more power than before.

We will soon release a MAP-kit and turbo upgrades and are soon starting tests of a new Engine Management System that looks very promising. If you are shopping for these items in a near future it could be wise to contact me for some info and pricing.

New update on the DEVEK chips. The cold start problems on Randes car are gone and it is making healthy power that is currently limited by the MAF-kit that was on the car when Rande came to us. The custom made chips do their work but it will not be possible to make more power without a piggy-back or standalone system.

Stay tuned for more info on DEVEK 951 products.
