Ian; I think so. A shop installed everything for me. Where is the o2 sensor? Downpipe?

John; I'll check.
I have some work to do on afr. I'm too rich up to 3000rpm and too lean from 3000->.
Is this bad enough to hurt spool-up by 1000rpm?

First check the items listed above. Cleanup AFR and let's see what you have. Also, you should be doing this in 4th gear. If worried about speed, you can add load by using the brakes (make sure to cool them afterward).

The o2 is on the vertical, on the cross over right before the turbo. It is probably in there but make sure its tight so it doesnt leak

This is a test without the boostcontroller. Spool-up to 3000rpm is more or less the same. Spool-up from 3000rpm and up is CRAZY!!!

Sorry John. I let off the throttle as quickly as I could.

20psi at 3500rpm in 3rd gear, and you have not cleaned the AFR is fantastic, isn't it? That's the spoolup characteristics I have been talking about!

Now that you are convinced, that the turbo works as I say. Perhaps it's time to get a dual port WG and start enjoying your toy!

Hehe. I was sure you were going to yell at me.
So what is happening here? Why does it boost so quickly from 3000rpm and up with the boostcontroller disconnected? Also, will a DP WG help with spool-up before 3000rpm? I'd love to see 1Bar@3000rpm.
Would I need an EBC to take advantage of the DP WG?

Are we 100% sure that a DP WG will solve my problems?
$350 for a WG and maybe the same for an EBC is a bit of money for me right now.

If the ball in the accuboost isn't seating the wastgate will open early so worth a check and it only takes a minute or so,

I'll check it out! . If it weren't for my family and my job, I'd have time to work on this car.

Wasn't yelling, and wouldn't yell either I know how the kits work, and the way your car was functioning was not typical. Glad we found the cause!

A DP WW will make a difference, so does cleaning the AFR (we can take the fine tuning off-line).
Before spending money, follow UK952 suggestion.

In 4th gear you can hit 1bar in the 3000-3200rpm (some actually hit 1bar at 2800) but I rather be conservative and you be surprised.

Now would you get me a dyno run? I would love to see the powerband on your car...
