Totally legal here in upstate NY as well, where my car is registered. Now if I was in the city, maybe the sniffer would give me a problem come inspection time, but I don't know that for sure. . .

Ted,
When you get a chance, swing that thing by my place. I'm really interested in checking it out.

I see - 50 to 100 % more hp does not infect regulations?
Remember Porsche will not be responsible for cars with more than 20 % more hp than stock indication. If there is more hp than it is like a complete different car that must be testet like one of a kind....

Jon, I am actually driving down to albany tomorrow. I have to entertain the girlfriend for a little while, and I promised her I would go to her best friends wedding on Saturday. Maybe we can meet up friday night? I have to let you drive it, since you gave me a chance to test out your leda's!

John's solutions are legal here.
I failed the sniffer the first time, drove to the nearest parking lot and pulled out the laptop, adjusted the fuel , went back in and passed with flying colors.

turbinek, that is just to cover John's *** legally. Also, for instance, in California they can fail you for anything that doesn't have the approval sticker on any modifications. . .

I know for sure that I was very concerned about regulations when I bitch-slapped an RS6 to the ground like a 3-legged dog the other day.

Congratulations on the stage two. Do you know how that differs from the K26-8 stock unit or from the porsche cup upgrade. Did you need an adaptor to the J boot?
Thanks
