Default My Vitesse Story. . . .

Well, not really a story, but I got it installed!!! Okay, well almost. Tomorrow my friend who is really good at soldering is coming over to get the SMT-6 in. Then I can start to tune this beast. I drove it around for a while today to break in the turbo, and make sure my fabbed up water lines didn't leak. Everything seems to be great! Since the car is not tuned, I am running a very conservative 12.5 psi. The thing is a monster. After about 50 miles of driving like an old lady, I started to get on it some. Full boost around 3000 rpms, and it holds boost all the way to 6000 (didn't bring it higher than that). It felt so good, where as the k26 was worthless over 5k. The thing just spools so fast and feels so amazing, I really can not get over it.

I also must say that even though I didn't buy the stage 2 kit from John, he was super helpful answering the questions I had, even though he really didn't have to. That says something about him not only as a business man, but as a person. We should be thankful that we have someone as dedicated to providing us with aftermarket options as John is. Thanks again, John!

John, you need to set up a test car with one of your kits on it. As soon as people drove it, they would hand you a check. It is a totally different car now!!

Well, sorry you guys had do to the reading, I am just too excited. I couldn't not share!! After I get it tuned I will make a video and post it up!

If that question was for me, I'm not really sure!! It is just the Vitesse Stage II kit.

Congratulations, and nice to hear about that next step up! Look forward to hearing about just how you go about tuning that beast from this point.

Sounds good Ted! I should be ordering a Vitesse Stage 2 soon, too. Too bad it isn't for my car!

tedwright, thank you for the kind words. I'm glad you understand why I didn't want to get involved with the transaction.... You have the old style Stage 2 turbo and software, keep that in mind when comparing notes with others.

. . . .and you said that you have made several improvements on the new kits! I honestly couldn't believe this setup getting much better, hehe. Thanks again, John.

Greg, your shipment is on the way! Give it 2 or 3 more days, since we are on oppossite oceans. Let me know when you get everything!

Don't forget John's solutions are, like many others, not street legal even in the U.S. there for track use only.

It is a pleasure to read the solution works great - enjoy!
