"Some were pretty cool, but damn, if I'd wanted a lecture I'd have called my mother! LOL!!"

Well, it is much better to get a lecture for driving the car the way it was intended and not just drive, I mean let your wife drive, it to the PTA meetings and Starbucks

If they (those that flamed NOT all 996 owners) have a problem with my comment, fine, as I speak from MANY times seeing that exact situation.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Todd...as I said, some of the guys were cool, but damn...I was beginning to worry that you guys were stick in the mud, and I was going to be surprised if that was so.

Thanks again!!

Testarossa---you said no chips, dings, dents? LOL, may not have been mine then...mine looks pretty good when shined up, but it's certainly not perfect, and my rear tint needs to be done...but it's not bad looking!

That I can recall....Nothing obvious.

No battle wounds that stuck out

Little rock chips etc....that is standard wear.

Ha! I DID see you this morning! Passed you going the opposite way near Telephone Rd on BW8. You with that big goatee are hard to miss my friend.

Of course, I was stealthily navigating traffic in my incognito F250. If I ever drive the 951 I'll be sitting too low to see you over the wall.

A ticket for 10 over?! I hope it wasn't a speeding ticket! Around here that ticket would be for obstructing the flow of traffic!

We just had a story on the news here this AM about cops all over "giving" most drivers a 10mph cushion for speeding. I've always been told 5mps, but certainly not 10. But in my experience most cops that have pulled me over if I was doing 10 over they wrote for only 5 over. If you were over 10mph over, then they ALWAYS wrote you for that number no exceptions.

Hey, none of those other Texas towns have anything on Richardson cops! Try going 40 mph in a 35 mph zone in Richardson and you are busted BIG TIME! I've had the pigs show up at my front door TWICE for playing my drums too loud, IN THE DAYTIME, no less!!! I can't even imagine taking my 951 up Central Expy. in Richardson at 5 miles an hour over the limit, much less at 135 mph! Good luck with all of that!
