Who did the rebuild? I've heard less than flattering things about Majestic (including in this thread), that they cut corners, use crap/cheapo components, etc.

 

yes majestic is who built this turbo.i bought a vitesse stage 3 kit and that is why i am selling it

 

Vitesse may not be the lowest priced but it is the best. Spend your money wisely for the long run. Changing out turbos is a great learning experience but it's not my idea of fun. Save your money, buy the best product, have fewer problems.

Well Huntley got some of thier turbos from Majestic so that would explain a lot. When Huntley went AWOL they still owed majestic for 4 turbos they never paid for.

btw, My turbo from Majestic is still perfectly fine after 1.5 years.

Konstantin, that is the majestic everybody is talking about. It "seems" to be a crap shoot with them. I remember big john having a problem with a k26/6 leaking very badly after having it rebuilt by them.
