Thanks for the compliments guys.

I have more pictures at work that I will post on monday, they have different angles for the paint and some have the 924 hatch with the unpainted m3 lip on it.

TarHeel, thanks for the p-chop, thats about what it will be like.

I have the suspension sitting at the shop now it will go on in a week when the car is back, the Stack, and solid lifters with cam will also be going in at the same time, all of these things have been at the shop for a while but we have been busy on other cars. when the cam goes in I wll paint items in the engine bay, I am thinking either goss black or crinkle black.

here are the pics, the one of the rear is not great, when it gets back from the body shop the rear will be done and I will post more pics. the side shot i thought shows good variation in the paint.

Perfect. Thanks for posting. Seriously, that car just looks mean, pissed off, and ready to tear someone a new .......

Very nice, although it's begging for a 968 TRS wing.

Have you considered a DARK mesh grille for all the venting in the bumper? It would clean up the look of the front very well in my opinion.

yes, i will be putting in black mesh. It will be Kamei mesh, I have there grill on my A4 and like it alot. They sell universal mesh I will have powder coated or just painted gloss black. I think I will put it over the intercooler as well keeping the front end even.

here is a link to the mesh I will use.

It's an amazing car and very unique and raw!
But personally I can't stand the wingless rear look.

the rear end is still a work in progress, I really did not like the stock rear, more so when the body work was done. it took away from the smooth look. I like the M3 lip better than the stock one. Once some one starts to make the 968 trim I will buy that and have a custom wing set up. I don't like the 968ts wing.

This car got way past this point and was "finished" when I raced Special Tool.

But I couldn't leave it well enough alone and pulled it back apart, had some issue's got discouraged and let it sit. Then I started and grew my business and let it sit some more. ~4 years at this point. (I also have an E46 M3 now that I daily and track)

But....

The car is back out and running. The shop was a little slow this feb so we dusted it off and did some work on it. The problems turned out to be pretty easily remedied, hopefully this season I will finish this project, and I will certainly be tracking it again.

I also never broke into the 11s on the drag strip and may try that again, but my focus will mostly be on getting out there with PCA. one of my main motivations here is running with PCA again will open up a whole lot more track events I can attend.

I would post a picture but with the changes around here I can't. If any one would like to host or post it for me I would be grateful.
