I think Texas law is much like California in that you must "display" the tag but nothing specific about mounting it to the front of your car. In the Dallas area you would be VERY hard pressed to find many new Corvettes with a front tag mounted. If I ever get pulled over for not having one on my 951 I'll use THAT as a reference! I'm an over 40 guy too but screw that old guy bs. I want the hottie 20 something year old chicks checking MY 951 out, lol.

I have one on my car. Only because it came with the bracket when I bought the car. Otherwise I would run without one.

I don't have a bulbs up there for it thou.

I know someone in your age bracket and area and they got a ticket for not having a front license plate.
Drive around Arlington, and see if you get any heat. I agree there are way too many Corvettes etc...without them, but that don't mean anything when they pull you over-tell it to the judge. Plus you are not driving an all American icon.

I do the same as others here. No plate in front, but keep it in a bag with the needed fasteners and tools under the drivers seat.

Really or just kidding? No one has a front license plate bulb, do they? You must have meant back.
