Anyone have this, or know off-hand if the 1988 944 Turbo S is listed as a "collectors car"? Thanks.

If you are asking for the purpose of appeasing the DMV to get out of emissions testing, Yes, our Turbo S's qualify. I know of one already there and mine will probably follow soon. (can you get vanity collectors plates?) E-mail me for details or a contact with the man who did it.

If that is NOT the reason for asking,... nevermind!

Oh no Dan, Just like the application says, I wouldn't be asking for that reason E-check is likely going away in my county at the end of the year Thanks for info, I thought so but wasn't sure. It's my understanding that there are no restrictions on driving with the collector's plate and they can be personalized. I'll hook up with you by e-mail if I run into any issues. I'm looking forward to 944 Fest. Thanks.

Camera's got fresh batteries in it......just waiting to take delivery, could be a month. She's red, 8400 original miles. Previous owner had some unusual aftermarket stuff done that I'm undoing. I'll post as soon as it arrives. Thanks for helping me out. I have much to learn about 944s, P-cars in general for that matter.
