So my car has a ghost (starting issues)
So, typically the car starts up no problem with under a second of cranking..
however it has done this twice, I will take it for a 15-20 min drive then let it sit for a few hours..
then it wont start.. it cranks real strog it just wont catch and start..
I will sit there trying to start it then after like 10-15 attempts it turns right over like nothing was wrong..
any ideas? sugestions?

I had a similar issue that was caused by the reference sensors. For some reason, it didn't want to start when warm. Let cool for a couple of hours and it would start again.... See if you borrow a set to troubleshoot.
Also look at the DME relay. There are stories of it failing when warm as well.
I recommend trying botth (independently of course).

Does the tach bounce when cranking?
Two common issues cause hot/warm starting problems, where the engine cranks but no start. DME relay, and loose connectors for the speed/reference sensors. DME Relay is available at dealerships, good to have a spare no matter what, and the connectors are at the back of the engine, mounted to the intake manifold on a little bracket.
For my car, just wiggling the connectors and pushing them together would let the car start like nothing was wrong.

I am gunna try and get a DME relay soon, I was looking for the connectors behind hte manifold and I need a better description..
I looked at the back of the intake by the oil fill neck..
I saw two weather tight connectors that had a black wires on the right and a whiteish wires one the left of each connector that was a small roughly 1-1.5" rectangular connector is that what you all are talking about?
