i sure don't want coolant pumping through the gt35 dual ball bearing i'll be buying. oil cooled will be just fine for me. with oil cooling and a proper turbo timer built into the stand-alone management system that's more than enough

.84ar turbine housing, stage 5 wheel
Man, you are asking for 5,000rpms before that thing spools up, and that is with BB on a 951 as well.

LOL, a big dayum for like 1,500rpms or so

That is why there is a 60-1 HIFI, which flows 90-95% of the 60-1 (as shown in the ad) but feature a 2.75" inlet (4" inlet in that ad).

So......looks are not everything

Yea. . . I'd just have to get a "little guy" and rig up a sequential system to use that. . .

Come to think of it Jeff, i remember Edman951 posting a vid on a Nissan 240 that spooled at around 6,000+ rpms and "hits" at redline.......what a pig

It seems you are aiming for a big project over there........want some pistons to go with it?

The .84AR is large for the 2.5L. It's still big for 2.8L, but will pull nicely on the top end. To get it to fit, you will need to drop the alternator, modify the crossunder and down pipes, make a spacer about an inch tall to space the turbo up from its mounting bracket and remove some material from the bottom of the intake manifold and throttle body. This is all because of the turbine housing.

Yes I will be needing some pistons at some point and you can bet you're the #1 option for 'em. But first things first. . .

I have to progress slowly and steadily - to do anything else or more aggressively-paced will get me in trouble with the bank or the wife!

Slow & steady - they don't notice. . .
