Try Vettech. 325 Great Neck Rd. Great Neck, NY 1-516-466-3368. They have a Dynojet and excellent a/f meter. There not cheap.

Default European Auto Repair

There is a shop in Lynbrook called European Auto Repair (516)596-9182 , I have seen many 944's,932's and 911's there. I am trying to get in touch with them to see if they can dyno tune.. anyone on this list use them?

I don't think you need dyno tuning for your cars. Your money is better spent on a good a/f gauge or better yet a wb. You really have no mods to be able to adjust fuel other than after market chips. If your running to rich it's because you car may have other repair issues. Like vac hoses/ intake leaks and so on. If you go to a dyno and find your running rich there isn't much the operator can do to control fuel delivery. So you will be out the money for the dyno session. If you buy a gauge you can see the differents before and after your repairs are made.

I have changed the FPR, Injectors have been serviced, new plugs, wires cap and rotor, vacuum is good (18-20in), TPS clicks, air filter is clean, new o2 sensor, car runs strong... but smells very rich at idle, reads 1st rich on the autometer a/f meter at idle.. not sure what i need to look at next

Make sure that your new fpr is set at 2.5 bar like the stock one. If you have chips that run on 3 bar make sure that fp is set to 3 bar. If your getting some smoke at wot a little is normal. To much could be fp to high, turbo bearings going bad, oil rings on pistons, intake leak under pressure and so on. You can also do a search. This problem is common.

What you describe sounds normal for a car without a cat. If your smelling richness when your driving than you may have a header leak.

With an Accuboost and APE chips it is not possible to get proper A/F at all rpms. Will never happen.

is there anyway to lean it out, or make the a/f ratio closer to what it is supposed to be, it sounds like you speak from personal experience sam lin

Have you checked the MetroNY Porsche Post? (PCA magazine). I have never dealt with any of these places personally, but they all advertise in the magazine and say they have the ability to dyno tune...
