That is not correct. Benz comes from Karl Benz and existed as a speratae company. Mecedes is name of Emil Jellinek's daugther. Jellinek was strong supporter of Gottlieb Diamler's company and major dealer. He had the pull for Diamler to create a car bearing his daughter's name. In the 20's Diamler and Benz merged. The company name was Diamler-Benz. The cars were Mercedes-Benz.

yeh but my 85' right hand drive 944 is 1250kg not 1350kg ha ha ha!! Only messing guys, but does anyone actually know why the American version of the 944 was heavier?

Lightbulb Porsche Vw Audi shared part list

Does anyone know if a list exist of what parts are shared between these companies for a Porsche 924 in 1979 or a forum that talks on it. thanks in advance
