Default Feeler: Anyone intersted in my 27-6?

I'm thinking of going bigger while I've got the motor out. The turbo is a little over a year old and uses absolutely no oil. Cartridge was new and exhaust side was also new had them put a 27 cold side on I bought off ebay. Michigan turbo did it for me. Not sure if anyone is interested if so make me an offer.

Smaller than a t04e - upgrading to the #8 hotside would be a nice thing to do also. It certainly can make some nice power even with a #6 though.

yeah it's amde excellent power took out a z06 vette with it as well as many other muscle cars (I'm a dirty word racer) I have no idea what to price it at. When my stock turbo went bad I sent it and a 27-? off a big notor maybe a diesel up there and he sold me a *new* not rebuilt center and hotside and put the 27 coldside on I supplied. The 1 year warranty was up in november. I have no idea what to ask for it. It's never fallen off at the redline like the 26's do. IIRC Tony G did alot with these turbos.

What kind of boost level did you run? Can the 27/6 sustain 18 psi? I'm 99% sure the k27/8 can, but I'm unsure about with the #6 hotside.

Jeff: There will be boost drop off from the 27/6, but less than the K26/6 since the cold side is bigger, yet backpressure, efficiency and size are more/less the same, since the same #6 hotside is still used.

The k27/6 will not make any more HP after 21-22 psi on a stock 951. It will continue to make proportionately more hp with incrimental pressure increase up to that point.
I made 330/340 RWHP/tq with mine - VERY fast.
