Would you state pricing you're/they're "shooting" for for those 3 options? Just like an idea...

It looks like I've been recruited to be their Porsche mouthpiece. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I have the feeling if you guys didn't get prices soon that a mob scene would follow shortly so I got pricing.

Alright, these prices are not firm in any way but they should be close to what we (Rennlist) can expect as a group buy:

MAF Basic Kit - ~US$450, everything you need for a quick direct AFM replacement.
- Cone airfilter
- Pro-M 80mm MAF
- Vane-air translator

MAF Power Kit - ~US$750, everything you need to dial in your MAF for larger injectors.
- MAF Basic Kit (see above)
- Pro-M Power Perfect Kit (see below)

Power Perfect Kit - ~US$300, the ultimate digital tuning tool for your Pro-M MAF. If you have a Pro-M MAF already but don't have a means to tune it, here you go.
- Vane air temperature sensor
- All required wiring
- The MAFtuner box
- Computer cable for programming the tuner box
- All associated software and instructions

See attached images. Note that this is for a different car (Eagle Talon) but is fundamentally the same as ours. They have a Karmen-Vortex translator instead of a vane-air.

A group buy on injectors is also a possibility in the near future.

Can I get just the larger MAF housing with the MAF sensor and thats it? I'll take care of the rest? If so, how much would cost be for that alone. I'm working on messing with some mustang parts, but if i can get pro-M calibrated for 951 for not much more, I may do that.

Also, how much would they want for JUST the MAF sensor and vane air translator? Say, to fit into something like this? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...sPageName=WD1V
but calibrated for 951?

Eyal - You will need the translator unless you already have something similar. PM me off-list and I can give you a better idea of pricing. Ordering the MAF Basic Kit minus filter will get a small discount; filters are pretty cheap these days.

what about a J-pipe to put it behind the headlight? Would it be possible to involve say speedforceracing to get it all tied together, check out this slick sfr j-pipe that 9fifty1 just sold.

Hally - We've been focused on getting the MAF to the market but piping is in the works. That said, the MAF will be available first and piping in the immediate future.

shortyboy - How does this week grab you? The MAFs availabe for immediate shipping but we first have to quickly organize a group buy.

J Chen - The 944 Turbo DME doesn't speak the language of hotwire mass airflow sensors.

[edited for accuracy]
The MAF has a different voltage curve than the AFM and it requires skewing. There are two options:

1) Either the translator modifies the MAF signal to mimick the appropriate AFM signal or

2) the chips are programmed to understand the MAF directly.

Hi Dark,
Understood. I assume that the translator would have
been built into the MAFtuner.

Thanks

I am assuming that the translator takes the place of the chip replacement?

Dark: You do realize that Lindsey Racing used to sell the Stage 1 MAF which consisted of the 75mm MAF with IAT, Filter, MAF Sensor and the housing for US$250. Which is the "MAF Basic Kit"....since Pro-M closed down, they took it off their MAF kits (only Stage 2 has the 75mm MAF).
