Have no fear: PRO-M MAFs are BACK!

SHOW OF HANDS - Who'd join a group buy?
As of this instant we don't have anything/anyone set up to fabricate piping but we're working on it. That said, what option would you be interested in?

Dark: You must be aware that the calibration for the MAF should be suited for the 951, in other words, it should be capable of giving out a 0-5v signal, and having an idle signal of ~0.7v.
Also, small yet crucial details, such as placing the sensor as far away as possible from the turbocharger.

That's an intersting comment. While I hadn't thought about it before, I assume it's a heat issue?

Secondly, the sensor should be far away from the turbocharger due to air turbulence from the turbo itself and the diverter/blow off valve.
That is why vendors such as Vitesse racing, Speed Force Racing and so on place the sensor really far ahead, where the filter comes.
Quoted from SFR website:
"Unfortunately, turbulence created when the compressor wheel spins up can wreak havoc on the mass-flow sensor. Combine this with big blow-off valves that recirculate a lot of charge air (and add to this turbulence) and you can see why sensor placement is important.........."

So...the new company is going to sell outright to individuals and snub all the vendors who have been buying their products? The MAF alone does nothing for you without proper chips as questioned by someone earlier.

Ski - No, the new Pro-M will not be selling directly. I don't know all of Pro-M's future distribution plans; my postings here are mainly to gauge interest.
A few guys local to me are setting up a performance shop (SRV Performance) with the specific intent to produce tuned chips & trick piggybacks for RX7s, Talons/Eclipses, and 951s. With Pro-M's impending return to the market it made sense to include that in the product lineup and since the SRV guys personally know the Pro-M guys, a dealer agreement was instantly approved.
So the snag is I know quite a bit about what's going on (some product details, dealer cost) but not everything is in stone yet (retail pricing, complete product list, what's to be public knowledge and what's not, etc.) The new Pro-M website is being designed right now and once it's up that will give everyone a lot of the information they desire.
