Question "Snapper" the 951 of this decade?

So what do you guys think of the Cayman S?
Let's say the similarities to the 951 are abundant.
An incredibly well-balanced coupe with rear hatch that will most likely be de-tuned so as to prevent usurping the 997's throne.

Really??? Wow. Even though it's still a little hard to tell with some of the little "disguises" still on in the latest pics, I think it's got a great look. I guess there's no accounting for taste (mine that is).

I should clarify, its *** is disgusting. Unless they covered it in junk to disguise it that is.

The pics I saw looked like they had junk on the hatch, but the rear fenders looked real.

Here's a link to a reasonably done photoshop image based on the latest spyshots.Cayman Forums
I'll try to get the Autoweek pics up shortly.

From that side view, I like the styling a LOT better than recent 911's. Looks more lean and mean, plus not tail heavy. But I don't see any similarities to the 944. Where did you get that?

I love it. I think the lines flow better than the 997. Not saying the 997 isn't beautiful as well, but I think the cayman is more pleasing to the eye. What's the price range going to be?

60-65K is what it looks like. Hopefully less 'cause at that price it'll probably lose out to the 997 with most folks.

deitz,
It doesn't look like the 951, it is similar in the niche it holds in Porsche's model lineup.
Like I said, balanced coupe with hatchback that in all likelihood will be detuned to keep the 911 supreme. Sound familiar?
